Just changed my blogskin, got sick of the previous one.. Will add more stuff to my blog later.
spent the whole day changing my blogskin, hope that this will gimme more motivation to blog..
suddenly realised that the previous & current blogskins have the same colour tone. says somethg abt my colour preference isnt it? ;)

my working schedule:
4 days work, 3 days rest,
3 days work, 4 days rest
Will change from day to night shift every 2weeks
thus, i'm available every thur, fri, sat & on alternate wed

I like to know wat other people are thinking.. Not only wad they think abt me but oso wad they're thinking abt other things.. I like to observe how someone behave in a situation & why they do so. I'm an introspective person.

I dun like horror movies, they're a waste of money and shorten lifespan and end up having neurosis. Unless it's FOC and i'm prepared to be watching just 1/5 of the movie. Else, i'll rather watch funny, cute, romantic or action-packed movies.

I wana eat healthy food, practise my religion but often end up eating junk and nodding off when listening to my Buddhist teachings.

I LOVE dogs especially big, sunny dogs = golden retrievers!! They're jus so inviting, huggable and outdoorsy..

I am interested in many things and like to learn about many different things, however, I dun have the perseverance and have a tendency to skim the surface.

I like to accept that the only thing constant is change. Makes life exciting & challenging.
I wish that everyone greets with hugs :D

woohoo.. let us learn how to differiate different types of dancing!

1st & foremost, the samba dance!

Samba originates from Brazil where it is a national dance. Many versions of the Samba -from Baion (pronounce: Bajao) to Marcha- are danced at the local carnaval in Rio. To achieve the true character of the Samba a dancer must give it a gay, flirtatious and exuberant interpretation. Many figures, used in the Samba today, require a pelvic tilt action. This action is difficult to accomplish, but without it the dance loses much of its effect.Before 1914 it was known under a Brazilian name "Maxixe" . The first attempts of introducing samba to European ballrooms are dated 1923-24, but it was after the World War II when samba became a popular dance in Europe. Samba has a very specific rhytm, highlighted to its best by characteristic Brazilian musical instruments: originally called tamborim, chocalho, reco-reco and cabaca.


so in short, it's quite a HOT dance.. haha..


& since pjun has mixed up tango with samba.. let's clear it up too!

ballroom dance, salsa, samba and tango are all part of latin dancing!

so we see that latin people really loves to dance.. btw, rem "havana nights dirty dancing"? it's set in havana, capital of cuba.. & cuba people LUV to dance.. haha.. anyw, i luv this movie.. & ya.. think most likely they're dancing salsa.. coz u see salsa originated from cuba..

btw, today yours truely, (which is me) went swimming & got even tanner! alamak! now my under-used muscles are begining to ache and my skin feels hot from the burning sun.. aiyaya.. oh me goin for industrial attachment in yr3sem1.. haiz.. i wana go in sem 2 one.. hopefully i can change.. if not.. den i'll be goin off to work this july..
