Just changed my blogskin, got sick of the previous one.. Will add more stuff to my blog later.
spent the whole day changing my blogskin, hope that this will gimme more motivation to blog..
suddenly realised that the previous & current blogskins have the same colour tone. says somethg abt my colour preference isnt it? ;)

my working schedule:
4 days work, 3 days rest,
3 days work, 4 days rest
Will change from day to night shift every 2weeks
thus, i'm available every thur, fri, sat & on alternate wed
arh, now hopefully the air is clear~

I is Qiqi, I is Claire.. is born on 6 OcT 1984.

I like to know wat other people are thinking.. Not only wad they think abt me but oso wad they're thinking abt other things.. I like to observe how someone behave in a situation & why they do so. I'm an introspective person.

I dun like horror movies, they're a waste of money and shorten lifespan and end up having neurosis. Unless it's FOC and i'm prepared to be watching just 1/5 of the movie. Else, i'll rather watch funny, cute, romantic or action-packed movies.

I wana eat healthy food, practise my religion but often end up eating junk and nodding off when listening to my Buddhist teachings.

I LOVE dogs especially big, sunny dogs = golden retrievers!! They're jus so inviting, huggable and outdoorsy..

I am interested in many things and like to learn about many different things, however, I dun have the perseverance and have a tendency to skim the surface.

I like to accept that the only thing constant is change. Makes life exciting & challenging.
I wish that everyone greets with hugs :D

在洪法团做义工

did some volunteer work at the buddist temple, 洪法团, in clementi beside the fire station for the past two sundays.. it's fun & rewarding =D the project is to set up the tent, altar & arrange the tablets for people to pray during the lunar 7th month..


[sidetrack: true buddhist followers DO NOT burn incense paper.. they pray/chant to relief the dead of sufferings etc etc.. incense burning belongs to a traditional CHINESE custom..]


the 1st time i went there i was assigned the important task of calculating somethings (dunno how to describe here).. whoa haha.. feel good sia, cos people have to keep asking me stuff & need my approval before they can continue to do the work.. but in fact, it's only my 1st time there & they're all senior than me.. but of cos, need the final nod of the guy who asked me to do the calculations.. i like all the people there.. all unassuming, kind, generous, friendly & wonderful.. haha..


2nd time i went there, no calculations are needed, cos i finished them last sunday.. =_= so i stick my leg in here & there.. work a while with my mother (talkative & meticulous) & also watched my father work (silent & fast).. =_= opposites attracts~ as for me, i guess i'm more of a communicative & efficient worker.. lOl.. jokking sia~ got asked to do some office work later, think they noticed tt i'm slacking off.. =P


guess the highlight of this is the meals provided! haha.. they serve vegetarian food & volunteers get to have our dishes placed nicely on the table during lunch.. there's also high tea with many delicious cakes/desert, specially for volunteers only.. wahahaha.. dinner's also provided, but i normally leave b4 dinner time.. =) always felt very full when i leave the temple..

learnt how to make sushi today.. maybe can make some for our nxt outing.. xinxin can make other stuff.. keke.. can also save money by packing some for lunch during school.. haha.. $_$
