I'm an introspective person.
I dun like horror movies, they're a waste of money and shorten lifespan and end up having neurosis. Unless it's FOC and i'm prepared to be watching just 1/5 of the movie. Else, i'll rather watch funny, cute, romantic or action-packed movies.
I wana eat healthy food, practise my religion but often end up eating junk and nodding off when listening to my Buddhist teachings.
I LOVE dogs especially big, sunny dogs = golden retrievers!! They're jus so inviting, huggable and outdoorsy..
I am interested in many things and like to learn about many different things, however, I dun have the perseverance and have a tendency to skim the surface.
I like to accept that the only thing constant is change. Makes life exciting & challenging.
I wish that everyone greets with hugs :D

Since I’ve started work, I’ve started to think a lot about what the future holds. The future in the perspective of a student and in the perspective of a career-minded woman is so different. Everything is different now. For the past few months I do not see the point of blogging daily happenings, celebrations that I went to, things I do etc. For the most part, I think it’s because I’m jaded. Although I can say that I live my life as fulfilling as possible (as per my own standards), there are times when I just feel that lack of progress, lack of satisfaction. I like to think that as long as I believe in myself I can do it, others might think I’m overestimating myself, but I’m only testing out where is my limit. And from there, get to know myself better.
Perhaps I’ll still blog about unusual or out of the norm happenings now & then, or maybe until I feel less jaded. Maybe this is just a part of me growing old much as I don’t like to acknowledge it. As much as I believed that one holds their own destiny, I actually went to remove some moles on my face and arm as it’s said to be bad feng shui. Because after all, it’s difficult to fight against destiny, much as well work together huh. Some things are just so fated.
Did my pre-molar implant on Monday, the good thing about it is the lack of bleeding due to lack of blood vessels & nerves around which is the opposite when u go for a tooth extraction. I don’t even have to bite down on gauze. But it’s still scary with all the drilling and cutting. Met my prosthodontist later, he asked if it’s traumatic. I nod my head & promptly shake my head afterwards. After all, I should be numb and jaded. It’s not like I enjoy going through all these surgeries, it more like one leads to another as arranged by my orthodontist.
I’m very glad that I’ve so many people celebrating my bday for me this yr.. I’m so honored.. Thanks everyone.. ^^v muacks~ My colleagues celebrated for me on thur & fri.. forgot to take photos on thur.. so here’s some photos taken on fri~ went to ktv & later to settler’s to play some board games.. hee..
Went to brewerkz on sat! I’m glad we chose there although the food is slightly expensive, but the atmosphere was great! Furthermore, the restaurant is very big & airy too.. Think I’m having claustrophobic experience from my last bday experience.. opss.. So great that they can sing the bday song for me loudly & I wun feel paiseh.. cos the other people, including a lot of angmohs, in the restaurant were loudly cheering for their soccer/rugby teams, nobody can hear! Hahahaha~
From bottom left, our oktoberfest beer tower.. find it okie, but not as good as hoegarden. My braised lamb fore-shank, I find the portion too big & got repelled by it towards the end.. & some other dishes that I managed to capture with my digicam.. engseng was having a poor time with his macaroni & cheese, looks not as appetizing as ours. I think only cin & pjun managed to finish theirs.. Haha~
After a long dinner, we went to double O retro night. Although only cin, pjun & me went, I think we had a great time.. Drank 2 tequila shots (super dun like the sourness/saltyness) & had half a waterfall (quite sweet & very burning).. & I got super high~ so high that all I wana do is dance, dance & dance.. keke.. This is the 1st time I got so high.. next time I know how to make myself high.. hohoho~ Makes me wana club again!! This is also the 1st time I got a hangover, quite a bad headache.. furthermore, I had to work on Sunday, took some panadol from my co nurse..
Somehow, we got quite a no. of da shans, including 1 ang moh, the rest are mainly youngsters, I wonder if they knew we’re older than them. Bleah.. perhaps it’s becoz this is the 1st time we went as a small all-girls group to clubbing..
Whoot! It’s my 1st company dinner & dance.. I’m quite excited lah, as I’ll get to mingle ard with not very familiar colleagues.. as my company is quite big huh, it is rather difficult to get to know everyone (dept people) in a matter of a week..
Hmm.. the food was not good, the performance can be ignored, which was totally what I expected.. haha.. main highlight was goin ard looking for people to take pictures with.. ^^

After the dinner went with my dept people to MOS.. hoho~ it’s my 1st time there! The place is quite nice arh.. I din know is so close to Clarke quay.. =/ before we enter MOS, we went to asylum for a beer while waiting for others to come.. met a group of my male colleague’s regular clubbing khakis, a bunch of chio bu & some guys.. this made my another colleague lament that this sort of thing never happen to them at all.. i.e.: chio bu running up to them.. haha..
We’re at MOS’s main room.. went dancing after a few drinks but yikes, I’m wearing a tube dress! And it’s constantly slipping down.. =( so sian.. but still had fun dancing.. keke.. long time din dance so I think I dance weird.. haha.. also went to the pure room for a glass of red wine.. I think the pure room is very good for couple to get comfortable.. hee..
I’m glad that smoking is now prohibited at all indoor nightspots.. my dress & hair is smoke free when I returned home.. ^^v
The best thing is that I went free of charge! My dear colleague came and fetch me to suntec & MOS & also drove me back home.. ^^ they paid for my cover charge & all my drinks.. which I think will total up to $60+.. felt slightly bad about having them pay for me.. but hor.. I dun have that much cash on me to pay them back too.. hahahhaha.. maybe will treat them milo during breakfast someday.. haha!

went to maple and bought 8mil worth of miso ramen!! Arghhhhhhhhh~~ so expensive!! @_@ I seldom play game since my work started.. somehow I feel the need for a few hours with myself or my family everyday after work, some family bonding time.. which to me is much important than gaming.. hee.. it’s too virtual and any achievements made in the game is too transient.. =/
it was great to be able to see all my uni frens & some beloved professors once again.. took photos with most of my closer friends that i managed to see during the post-convocation reception.

went to imm for S.H.E autography session on sat with seng & cin.. was quite a disappointment lah.. cos din managed to see them at all.. not one tinny weeny bit.. boo~ they were hidden away in the tent away from the onlookers.. saw on the news later that day tt they did have a singing session before the autography.. seems like they were incredibly punctual, cos i arrived ard 5 mins late and i din heard them sing at all..

at my dental appointment today, Dr Peck as usual asked me if i find myself prettier after the op.. tt's his usual qn for me.. & my usual ans is "okie loh" but he seems so disappointed each time i say tt.. he'll say "huh.. nt pretty arh?" cant expect me to say "yeah man.. i find myself soooo pretty now" *cue beautiful girl ost from 200pounds beauty*
so this time round i told him my friends said i look sweeter.. to which he says "oh.. i definitely agree with tt" XD and he began calling me sweety~ hohohoho~ my surgeon is so adorable!!

by the end of the day, i was super tired from all the walking, posing and changing in & out of gowns.. was dozing off at the back of the car.. yet, our mothers can still chat all the way from morning till evening.. and still talk non-stop on the car ride back.. talk talk talk talk talk talk~~ the power of aunties.. @_@
had a JC gathering quite sometime ago (long time ago =X ard 1 mth ago).. it was great to be able to meet up with them after 4 yrs! haha.. actually, we still got meet up in between lah, when we go to charlie chan's house during cny & other gatherings etc..but the no. of pp attending kept dwindling.. this time ard was for peijuan's farewell dinner.. 15 pp turned up~ which was considered quite a successful gathering!
i had fun lah~ and i rem why i enjoyed my jc life.. XD there were so many jokers in our class.. we all had the same frequency of humour among us.. well.. maybe there were those odd ones, but tt's wad makes the class even more hilarious..

at some point during the dinner, jicheng took out the 5-yr date card i made for them.. i distributed it when we collected our 'A' lvl certificates so only those i saw among the chaotic moments got the card.. those who kept them began to take out theirs from their wallet too.. haha.. i was quite touched at tt moment.. cos they all rem and kept it with them.. those who dun have are all bo xin lah~
after tt most of us went to sing ktv.. ktv with them was fun too.. i prefer the interaction time during ktv rather than jus keep singing for the sake of wanting to sing.. so i like it when there are many pp in the ktv.. ^^v
LadiesWitz celebrated seng's very belated birthday on May.. the very-touched-by-our-gift-&-almost-cried birthday boy with his slices of birthday cake.. haha..
very coincidentally, most of them wore the watches we gave them as birthday gifts.. clockwise from the gift box: seng's watch still wrapped, cin's classic watch, jia's golden watch and ting's braclet watch..
next is the june babies!! chester, huiqi, jialing and karen.. celebrated it on 8th june after much delibration on the date.. due to many people's bz schedule =P
we had the birthday celebration at Basil Aclove, a cheap fine-dining restaurant.. these are some of the food we ordered.. i like my shrimp pasta a lot!! painly because it have 12 shrimps inside and it cost ard $8.. hohohohoho~ i dun mind goin back for the same dish..
after which, when we splitted to go home.. xin, chester, jia & i passed by TCC and we decided to grab some drinks and chitchat.. these are the drinks we ordered..
we chatted for quite some time and time passes by so swiftly =) very soon, the waiter are chassing us away.. =X hee.. it's so nice to talk freely with friends.. ^^ love u all.. muacks..
oh man!!! i'm so happy i went for 曹格's concert in ntu today.. heehee.. had great fun tonight.. bcos i had to meet up with cin & jia.. we were at the very back of the quene.. when we went inside the MLT, it was already packed.. the only place available was the stairs!! and we managed to sit really infront!! whee!!! we're able to see gary really up close.. and he likes to be near the audience too!!
tt's kinda like the whole point of goin to a live event right? to be near and up close.. ^^
oh! i waved to him at the start of the concert and he waved back to me with his index finger while smiling & singing!! hohohoho!! aiyo.. make me shy lah..
the highlight of the concert was when he walk past our aisle and i managed to shake his hand!! & it's a firm handshake wor!! his hand was quite cold.. haha.. when he walk back to the stage, he had to pass by the aisle again right? this time cos he's walking quite fast.. i slipped my hand with his hand!! whoa!! his hand is smooth loh!! so damn smooth..
he is very mesmerising & charismatic lah.. especially when he's singing.. he anyhow sing will be nice loh.. i like all the songs he sang!!
i wana be more high de.. but hor.. the people ard me not especially encouraging lah.. so jus wave hand, sway here & there and scream loh.. (to show 曹格 encouragement) keke.. i think recently i watched some taiwan entertainment shows lah.. when their celebrity holds a concert, the people below wave to the beat like crazy loh.. so fun!!
at one point he said he wanted to give the flower on his suit's pocket to someone while he's singing.. and we all got excited loh.. finally he spotted a target and is the girl beside cin loh!! dunno to be disappointed tt he din give us or be excited that he's so close to us!! hahaha.. kept feeling like grabbing him (his ampit.. hahahha!) with his back so closely to us.. but dun dare lah.. and he's singing mah.. dun wana disturb his flirting with the girl too.. =X
hee.. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CIN!! i'll try to rem the #1 lah.. May ur wishes come true and be a pretty 18 yr old always.. & i've always found u to be good, cute, chio and generous.. *wink* i wan a LV~ kekeke..

CNY is great.. GREAT.. i got to enjoy myself with family bonding, relatives and friends gatherings, although, it's only with my closer relatives and my group of buddies.. but i think the best part is the *official nua-ing days that comes with CNY.. when else will everybody (with few exceptions) be not working/studying?!?
note: *official is impt here.. cos i always nua unofficially.. and too much of tt makes me uncomfortable.. i need it to be official.. keke..
CNY eve is the day where we all had our reunion dinner.. my family had this tradition of having a reunion steamboat lunch instead.. cos my mother says steamboat eat for dinner will be too full.. and the leftover from lunch can be left for dinner too! practical approach huh! anyway, this yr, the food we had for steamboat seems to be pathetically few.. told my mother, and she said dun need to buy so much, later cant eat finish.. ~___~ guess wad, 2 days later, my mother told me that she found 3 big packets of steamboat food in the fridge.. she had forgotten abt them during cny eve!! wad can i say?
Day1 is chu1.. my mother made us all eat vegetarian.. so we had terribly plain and simple dishes.. but is good to start the new year without any "killings".. nxt few days was spent with my cousins.. and we had really good food!! another great thing abt cny.. big fish big meat!! i bet for most of u, it's no big deal.. but for me.. T_T is big deal.. cos my mother normally cooks 2 vege dishes and 1 fish dish and 1 soup.. eat until sianz.. but is healthy food lah.. so i've been feasting recently.. ^^v
invited my group of buddies to my house to bai nian.. miss those days where there's large group of pp in my house.. after my house, we proceed to xin's house, pjun's house and cin's house.. played ban luck all the way.. i most high when i'm playing at my home.. hee.. too bad u all din get to play with my mother.. she oso easily get high over ban luck.. it's also been a long time since we've been to other's house to bai nian..
have been watching entertainment shows, animes, manga and playing pko these days.. lvl 28 now.. so slow.. i wana reach lvl 40 and be rich fast!! hohoho.. but i have 3 upcoming quizes and fyp report to hand in.. i'm so qian bian.. like to push things to the last min.. throw myself in a tight situation in the end.. yea.. i've to work harder.. hope it gets in my head..

oh! a bit of gossips here: the guy who accompany zhenling to my house is indeed her bf.. zhenling told her mother, who in turn told my mother, who in turn told me.. hahahaha.. zhenling oso said why i so pretty but why dun have a bf? (wahahahahahahaahahahahahahaha.... thanks for saying i pretty huh.. it makes my cny even greater ^__~)

ang bao factor.. i always get very few angbao cos all my relatives are in malaysia.. but it's okie, cos as long as i get 2 angbaos and above i happy le!! (ie: as long as my parents give me) but angbaos are a gift of blessings rather than by-the-end-of-the-15th-day-count-if-i-got-more-or-less-than-last-yr kinda thing.. hahaha.. erm.. tt said, i really cannot stand some malaysians giving me RM2 angbaos.. hee.. aye aye.. it's contradicting..
there's gatherings!! goin to friends' house.. one of the major highlights for me.. so can u all pls invite me to ur house? thank you!

XD and i made my own customised egg rolls with stuffed pork shreds (肉松).. got the idea from the snacks i bought from bkk recently.. oso bought buakua (肉干)~ my beloved buakua!! hohoho.. desperately trying to shoo away the syndrome with more water.. goin to buy more cny goodies soon..
hmm.. perhaps i can invite u all to my house this yr for cny.. cos we suddenly got many alcohols.. heehee.. not a lot actually, but should be enough for a small gathering.. 1.5 bottles of volka, 3 bottles of hoegarden, red wine, white wine, baileys.. okie lah.. if u all wan the martel, i can secretly open it.. =P but den my house like no other entertainment.. hmm.. wad did u all do when u all came to my house last time huh?
btw, CNY ends with a diet program.. hahahaha..

Celebrated at YuSheng's house in Bt Timah together with many of his secondary school friends.. a huge gathering.. had quite a lota fun lah.. had a big spread of food but din manage to take any photos of it.. the other photos i compiled together and made it into a video.. very unskillful, but i'm banking on effort marks.. hahaha..

after the exams, there was a certain blankness in my lifestyle.. the after mugging-effect.. (kinda like the post-holidaying effect which i always suffer from.. jus that it's in a opposite sense) haha..
so after busying myself in post-exams parties for a few days.. i began to search youtube for nice stuff to watch temporary.. tried 惡男宅急電 starring Mike He & Xu Wei Lun, Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle & some taiwan variety shows(no new updates) all dun interest me leh.. so i tried naruto~ cos it's a famous anime and jia always ask me if i got watch naruto.. keke.. & since then.. i'm addicted!! arhhhhh... totally addicted from the 1st episode.. so addicted that for the whole day, all i do is watch naruto.. oso gave up maplestory for naruto.. XD
30/11 thur: went for xin's bachelorette party.. had a lota fun!! sang many songs and was very excited for xin's big day tml.. szeni, huiqi, karen, xinyi, xueling, jialing, peijun and me turned up.. it's been awhile since i sang ktv and this was an especially enjoyable and meaningful one.. =D jia and i were the last to go and we kept singing with our hoarse voices.. hahaha..
1/12 fri: the special day! had promised xin that i'll reach earlier to take nice photos while the sun have not set.. but alas.. was late and quite disappointed to reach there after the sun has set.. no beautiful photos liao.. boo.. but while we are late, the crowd have not settled yet and everyone was outside the entrance.. haha.. everythg was beautiful, including the bride and groom.. like xin's makeup a lot.. hahaha.. the only regret was the huiqi, jia, gan, juan & i was assigned to another table.. it was kinda unbearable to be separated from the group and to realise that we were separated bcos we're single.. felt isolated, like specifically reminding us of our status.. but was okie as long as we chatted and ate.. besides we are not at the table for long..
the very compatible xin & chester, taking vows, exchanging rings and pouring champagne..
xiao qiqi is the almost the centre of attraction that night.. ahahaha.. with a low cut dress and actively involved in phototaking with us.. keke.. (btw, i dun rem wad's her real name.. hmm.. only know her english name is jolin)
Szeni, who managed to "grab" hold of the hand bouquet from the bride.. hohoho.. good tidings soon?

went out for steamboat along bugis with gan, seng, cin and justina..
was pretty satisified with the meal.. got to eat a lot.. haha.. and had a lota maggie mee.. of cos, we made full use of cin, the prawn peeler, hee.. but prawn not fresh.. bleah~
serene said she saw me when we went to a japanese restaurant for some mouth gaping activity.. haha.. we were staring at the ice-cream which jia and cin strongly recommended.. but we jus had the buffet.. hence, we only stared.. the pp in the restuarant would have tot tt we're hungry ghost.. LOL..
went to justina's house for overnight mahjong~ after a very very very long hiatus from it.. hahahaha.. had fun.. but lost money.. boohoo~ her family members very friendly and cute.. ^^v oh.. and all are professionals.. tsk tsk.. how to win like tt?!?
went back home completely exhausted.. and slept.. and slept.. and finally i found my addiction i mentioned previously.. hohoho.. NARUTO~ those of u who like anime and haven watch.. it's a must watch.. naruto is so kawaii~ i wana be fren with him.. pinch his cheeks and ask him to do his "Kage Bushin no Jutsu" (mass replication technique) to help me do my FYP~ buahahahhaha..
i really like the front few episodes.. the getting-to-know-the-characters episodes.. right until episode 135, Sasuke Retrieval arc.. however, after that with all the fillers, the addiction lessened.. haha..
the reason why i like it so much is bcos it's very cute & hilarious at times while not being overly cute~ eg: girly cute.. & it's also very touching!! ~_~ i especially like the voice for naruto.. like the way he calls sakuru-chan.. heh.. naruto is a very clueless yet persistant joker-ninja who wears bright orange clothes.. keke.. furthermore, the cast are "colourful & lifely" and i like quite a lota characters.. and the village they lived in is called Konoha.. where technologies are totally mixed up.. u'll know if u watch the anime or manga.. O_o

1 thing abt naruto that intrigues me is that it uses a lota inspirations from other cartoons, tv serials etc.. for instance:
third hokage - inspiration from Sun Wu Kong the Monkey King, Choji - eats spinach pills will gain immerse strength, sounds like popeye right? while fighting with the sound enemy, they look like 2 sumo fighting.. haha.. Rock Lee - have hairdo and eye brows like bruce lee.. fights like bruce lee too.. is a natural drunken fist user.. buahahaha~ lee is so cute too!! a very earnest guy with a weird sense of fashion.. keke.. there's also spiderman, shinigami, kill bill elements etc etc..
the good char of naruto can be roughly summed up by: Fighting for those important to you..
the astray char of naruto can be roughly summed up by: Just because someone is important to you doesn't necessarily mean that person is good.. Even if you knew that person is evil, people cannot win against their loneliness.
the bad char of naruto can be roughly summed up by: desire/desperation for power in a weak person for certain purpose such as revenge/recognisation leading to isolation, arrogance and evil, twisted minds~

went to expo to do volunteer work for the relics exhibition with gan.. befriended someone there.. a very nice person.. hope to see her some other days.. will go again on the 16/12 sat, can call me if u happen to be there.. haha..
well.. for those of you who have not seen the relics exhibition yet, u should go.. the relics are amazing.. some people may have doubts abt the relics but i think as long as u show respect for the relics and dun openly doubt or defame them.. it'll do u good ^^v
10/12 sun:
went to the relics exhibition again.. LOL.. this time with my bros and relatives.. my parents are helping out there.. have to quene for quite a bit before we can see the relics.. the relics are really very pretty and nice.. my relatives are all like hungry ghost ~_~ came out from the relics part and kept ordering food~ i find the situation very comical.. haha.. my parents also joined in..
