Two road idiots went on an adventure to Little India this afternoon. We’re blasted by the Indian~ smell the moment we’re near to the MRT exit.. whoo! Power sia.. But got immune ard 1 min later.. haha.. Fortunately or unfortunately, as both of them knew their limits, they only went around the very small perimeter of buffalo road. We spent most of the time enjoying the India cuisine and looking touristy.
Somehow, some of the buildings look like those in chinatown.. =/
Went to The Banana Leaf, ordered their signature dish, fish head curry, some chicken dish & brayani rice, which is served onto the banana leaf. Their signature dish is not bad, only that it’s too big a portion for 2 people. The chicken breast taste refreshingly light, slightly sweet sour from the lime & spices.
The main purpose we’re so recklessly (I should have checked some maps before goin out, laziness is the issue here) adventurous is all bcos my mother wanted to buy hena hair dye. =/ Anyway, she finally got it in the end. Realised that most Indians know how to speak Malay and that there are some Indians who really duno *sway head left & right* how to speak English.
& what an unlucky day, I was struck with 1st price when a bird shitted on my head as I was walking along the 5-foot pathway.. I instinctively knew that an idiotic bird shitting on my head, so I din touch my hair.. Instead, I shake my head and a substantial amount of shit got fling onto the pavement. Ewww! Disgusted I ran to my mother and yea, no choice, she had to help me clean up. Totally not in the mood for shopping already. Gotta get home right away, one of the few moments when I crave to bathe so much after a day out.

Hi there! How’s everybody? All still very loving I hope.. haha!
Been sometime since i've blogged.. i shall start with happenings that happened long ago.. haha~

Went to suntec for the food feast.. greedily chomping down food.. actually i dun think much of the food feast.. most are package food that are unhealthy.. blah~ we jus went one round to fill our stomach..
very coincidentally, next door is having the games exhibition! the boys wana go so we went along.. oh, no pics of the boys.. all are cam-shy.. posed with the characters.. last photo shows my cousin caress a breast.. hohoho~
there's games galore!! many of which i dunno existed lah.. haha.. the one that interested me most would be the wii.. but did not get a chance to play that.. will look kinda dumb if u're playing it for the 1st time.. haha.. there's some goodies to take home too, provided u're willingly to quene up.. saw a long quene behind asiasoft's maple counter.. so many kiddos~~

ah.. it has come to this state where i'm graduating and am officially given the right to wear the mortarboard aka sqaure cap with the gown and strutted about.. hahahaha~ so it deserves its rightful memory freeze by taking loads of photos.. i took more than 100 photos~

tt day was rather funny cos whenever the 3 of us wanted to take photo together, we had to hand our cam over to our mother.. but they had almost zero phototaking experiences.. which makes it hilarious and exhausting at times.. so it was difficult to get a good photo..

by the end of the day, i was super tired from all the walking, posing and changing in & out of gowns.. was dozing off at the back of the car.. yet, our mothers can still chat all the way from morning till evening.. and still talk non-stop on the car ride back.. talk talk talk talk talk talk~~ the power of aunties.. @_@

went shopping with my cousins on sun.. apparently, it's the great singapore sale now.. & i've realised that i'm really not shopping as frequently as i did last time.. the sales excites me! but i'm broke!! boohoo~
was shopping ard, and there's this hard-selling auntie at hereen B1 selling chocolates.. she stuffed so many chocolates into my younger cousin and my hands so fast that i cant distinguish what chocolate was in my mouth.. i was thinking how good she was to let us sample all the chocolates (which are all very nice) when she suddenly began to pack some chocolates for us.. =__= my younger cousin and i stared at one another's eye totally bewildered and burst out laughing.. for a while.. only..
we din even say we're buying loh..
so i tell the auntie "auntie, i din say i wana buy leh.. why are u packing for us huh?"
at which the auntie told us to give her some face and jus buy some..i gave her a "huh" face.. and she continue to pack those chocolates.. and the chocolates are not cheap loh.. one small cube for $1++
and she began her hard-selling lah.. f5.. so fine loh.. begin the kind-hearted, difficult to say no lady.. i said "fine.. but let me choose the chocolates!" ~___~ and she has to cheek to look appalled.. *roar!!*
anyway, we took neoprints at cineleisure.. heehee.. i like the process of taking neoprints.. very enjoyable ^^

recently have been watching bleach manga.. started from where the latest anime ended off to the very latest manga chapter.. it is jus so super exciting!! i love bleach!! i wana live in the bleach era.. hohohoho!!
nowadays, i infatuated with bleach and naruto.. perhaps is a part of me that hopes to escape the reality and jump into an era without my present kind of stress (studies, jobs finding, health etc).. but in naruto & bleach, i guess i'll be worrying about being able to stay alive for the nxt min anot.. seems like a bigger kinda stress huh.. LOL..

2 of my relatives from perak are coming over to my house on wed to stay for a few days.. my mother asked me to give up my room for them.. it's been like almost 30 yrs since they've come to singapore.. so we need to be a good host.. but i'm often in my room and i need to study for my exams too.. everythg is here.. my everyday necessities, books, notes, laptop, comfort bed.. keke.. i can be in my room the whole day, jus goin out for food and toilet only loh..
anyway, i jus tot of a solution.. which is for my bros to give up their room instead and come sleep with me! heeheeheee.. since i need my room more.. hope there'll not be major objections.. jus tt my bros sleep early & wake up early while i sleep late & wake up late too.. ZzzZZzz..

CNY is great.. GREAT.. i got to enjoy myself with family bonding, relatives and friends gatherings, although, it's only with my closer relatives and my group of buddies.. but i think the best part is the *official nua-ing days that comes with CNY.. when else will everybody (with few exceptions) be not working/studying?!?
note: *official is impt here.. cos i always nua unofficially.. and too much of tt makes me uncomfortable.. i need it to be official.. keke..
CNY eve is the day where we all had our reunion dinner.. my family had this tradition of having a reunion steamboat lunch instead.. cos my mother says steamboat eat for dinner will be too full.. and the leftover from lunch can be left for dinner too! practical approach huh! anyway, this yr, the food we had for steamboat seems to be pathetically few.. told my mother, and she said dun need to buy so much, later cant eat finish.. ~___~ guess wad, 2 days later, my mother told me that she found 3 big packets of steamboat food in the fridge.. she had forgotten abt them during cny eve!! wad can i say?
Day1 is chu1.. my mother made us all eat vegetarian.. so we had terribly plain and simple dishes.. but is good to start the new year without any "killings".. nxt few days was spent with my cousins.. and we had really good food!! another great thing abt cny.. big fish big meat!! i bet for most of u, it's no big deal.. but for me.. T_T is big deal.. cos my mother normally cooks 2 vege dishes and 1 fish dish and 1 soup.. eat until sianz.. but is healthy food lah.. so i've been feasting recently.. ^^v
invited my group of buddies to my house to bai nian.. miss those days where there's large group of pp in my house.. after my house, we proceed to xin's house, pjun's house and cin's house.. played ban luck all the way.. i most high when i'm playing at my home.. hee.. too bad u all din get to play with my mother.. she oso easily get high over ban luck.. it's also been a long time since we've been to other's house to bai nian..
have been watching entertainment shows, animes, manga and playing pko these days.. lvl 28 now.. so slow.. i wana reach lvl 40 and be rich fast!! hohoho.. but i have 3 upcoming quizes and fyp report to hand in.. i'm so qian bian.. like to push things to the last min.. throw myself in a tight situation in the end.. yea.. i've to work harder.. hope it gets in my head..
jua read cin's blog.. i'm oso upset over certain things.. But shall not blog abt it too.. haha..
oh! a bit of gossips here:
the guy who accompany zhenling to my house is indeed her bf.. zhenling told her mother, who in turn told my mother, who in turn told me.. hahahaha.. zhenling oso said why i so pretty but why dun have a bf? so i attempted to sleep with a full bladder.. i cant relax myself and my bladder.. kept thinking tt i cannot pee in my bed.. and i cant sleep! kept tossing ard and walking to my bedroom door to peek at the kitchen.. finally gave up and decided to go to my parents' bathroom instead.. i rather risk waking up parents than being scared to death..
so i went to my parents' bathroom to pee & while in the process woke up my mother.. while i was in her bathroom i oso heard the same noise loh!! aiyo.. made my skin crawl dao~
i told her i dun dare go to kitchen cos got weird sound.. and u know wad she said?

finally decided to pack my room since i intend to invite pp over to bai nian.. i'm now in the process of cleaning my room anyway.. taking a short break.. =P
i saw a small lizard last night in my room.. ignored it cos 1stly, i dun dare to catch it & my family is asleep.. and 2ndly, i tot it could eat some mosquitos in my room.. but apparently it dunno how to appreciate a favour done to it.. i was cleaning my room halfway when it jumped down and landed on my left hand!! *super big scream* my elder bro came running to my room and i screamed at him to catch it.. and u know wad? my bro looked at the lizard and asked me for a tissue.. pengz.. by then, the lizard has squiggled away..
i got hysterical for a momemt and asked my bro why only looked at the lizard? u looked at it, it looked at u.. the stupid lizard had landed on my skin!!! i have to get my revenge!!! by throwing it down 4 storeys.. haiz.. as of now.. it should still be in my room..Labels: daily stuff, family

so does my sore throat syndrome!! i've to remind myself to keep drinking water!! water~~ (think bruce lee.. hahahaha! XD L.A.M.E) btw, my festive season dun refer to valentine's (@$%^&*) okie.. it's the chinese new year!! yea.. i like chinese new year a lot because:
- ang bao factor.. i always get very few angbao cos all my relatives are in malaysia.. but it's okie, cos as long as i get 2 angbaos and above i happy le!! (ie: as long as my parents give me) but angbaos are a gift of blessings rather than by-the-end-of-the-15th-day-count-if-i-got-more-or-less-than-last-yr kinda thing.. hahaha.. erm.. tt said, i really cannot stand some malaysians giving me RM2 angbaos.. hee.. aye aye.. it's contradicting..
- there's gatherings!! goin to friends' house.. one of the major highlights for me.. so can u all pls invite me to ur house? thank you!
- of cos go to friends' house will end up playing mahjong right?
- meanwhile eat many cny goodies right?
- and of cos have fun lah~ hahaha.. yeah!!
my parents jus made love letters.. aka.. egg rolls.. XD and i made my own customised egg rolls with stuffed pork shreds (肉松).. got the idea from the snacks i bought from bkk recently.. oso bought buakua (肉干)~ my beloved buakua!! hohoho.. desperately trying to shoo away the syndrome with more water.. goin to buy more cny goodies soon..
hmm.. perhaps i can invite u all to my house this yr for cny.. cos we suddenly got many alcohols.. heehee.. not a lot actually, but should be enough for a small gathering.. 1.5 bottles of volka, 3 bottles of hoegarden, red wine, white wine, baileys.. okie lah.. if u all wan the martel, i can secretly open it.. =P but den my house like no other entertainment.. hmm.. wad did u all do when u all came to my house last time huh?
btw, CNY ends with a diet program.. hahahaha..

hohoho~ went to expo on sat & yup! & i my father bought a digicam from canon! bwahahaha~ i love it so much!! great function great design!
as expected expo was really crowded~ & if one really wana window shop all the available stores.. whoa~ can take a whole day to do tt.. perhaps even more? anyway, i only went to camera related stores.. & by the end of the day still stay firm to my decision of buying the above digicam.. keke.. quite a lot of freebies are given.. a 1GB SD card, cam pouch, cam case with all the cleaning kit, tripod & card reader. tried to ask for more freebie but my mei li not enough.. ahaha..
& guess wad? i went a second time to expo on sun~ am i crazy? haiz.. this time to accompany my cousin highness.. bought a nikon digicam.. same price tag as me yo~ but with tons of freebies! wad the.. tt salesman gave her the freebies like nobody's business.. like it is FREE!! alamak! she got two 512MB SD card, a 1GB SD card, 1 extra batt, & tons of other things!! argh~~ tons of other things include a big travel bag, a big huge umbrella, all those tt i have, & more more more~ *faint* gals & guys, morale of the story, pls go shopping at the last min, normally those freebie which they claim will be out of stock soon will be showered onto you..
my cousin went bugis to buy dancing shoe. so ex.. not nice. sian. din buy. me no partner yet.
after tt went IMM! to see:
who is he? he is the si nai sha shou!! the auntie killer!! loads of aunties there.. he's the lead in the korean show, stairsway to heaven..
he went to grace the opening of the face shop in IMM.. this is his handprint & signature on the front floor entrance to the store. btw, his handprint is really small.. there's this guy who kept saying "wah, his hand so small!" den he put his hand over his print.. verdict: kwon sang woo's hand is really small.. =_= btw, i see his signature, i got reminded of seng's sec sch time signature.. 
where is he?!?! come out!! it is indeed an opening ceremony.. got lion dance~
okie.. one of the clearest photo of him.. haha.. quite a task u know.. considering the amount of people cramped in tt area.. 
if u think tt the cramping at expo is not shiok enough, u can go to IMM to experience the feeling of being carried away by people.. u'll get to be pushed here & there.. it is so packed tt i kept laughing cos i seem to be floating.. no need to walk de.. the crowd will carry u along.. i jus lock my arms with my younger cousin & let the wave do the trick..
